Since their inception in 2004 Apolis Activism has taken great strides in building global relationships that result in aiding humanitarian organizations and simultaneously developing a fine product. An entrepreneurial response to the inequities witnessed through their travels – brothers Raan, Shea, and Stenn Parton have advocated a novel and innovative approach to the industry that stresses social enterprise while providing sustainable development through employment.
The brand’s Autumn / Winter 2011 collection is no exception to its rooted principles features a series of accessories and garments including a pair of silk and wool scarves made in collaboration with a Himalayan hand looming cooperative, travel accessories with a Canadian leather atelier, a toggle cardigan and Ambassador Blazer crafted by Italian sartorial masters. Each piece speaks to the admirable craftsmanship and quality we’ve come to expect from the brand over the years.
We hold a deep appreciation for the brand here at Sunday Essentials, and hope more up-starts follow the example and principles of what Apolis strives for. Enjoy the still from their A/W 2011 collection – for pricing and info please visit the Apolis Activism web – shop.
